Our fiction pick follows a long line of classic lit and historical figure/ supernatural mash-ups. We've had Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters, Alice in Zombieland, and Queen Victoria: Demon Hunter to name only a few in this immensely popular trend in publishing. In author Alan Goldsher's latest book, the hills are alive with something other than music.
For non-fiction we picked a Vegan book that sticks out. Here at the Downtown branch we have quite a few Vegan books to choose from, so that's saying something.
